On a bright and sunny
(and quite warm) Sunday, our
Central Fraser Valley Chapter was invited to join the VCCC Vancouver
Chapter and the Totem A&T Club to a three part tour. Excellently organized by Mick Short of the Totem A&T Club, our arrival brought us to the home and collection of Earl Tucker (left) and then onto the home and collection of Garry Cassidy (right) where we also had our picnic lunch. After Garry's, most of us proceeded to the Canadian Museum of Flight in Langley where we were treated to a tour by Bruce Scott of some great old airplanes, some dating back to before WW1 as well as more modern jets like those flown by the Snowbirds (below). |
