Our fabulous Boxing Day Tour,
wonderfully planned by Leroy and Jean Clingwall, was, in a
word, great. We travelled many back roads in the Valley, going
through farm country in and around Arnold, eventually travelling
down Whatcom Road (My old stomping grounds. From 1955 to
1957, I went to Upper Sumas Elementary School at the corner of
Whatcom and Vye.-ed), and eventually onto Ricky’s Restaurant for
coffee and goodies.
