This was the 31st Annual "Picnic in the Park" car show held Labour Day Sept. 7/15 at the Langley Arena parking lot under perfect weather conditions. 

Hosted by the Canadian Falcon Fairlane Comet Club, the event is a fundraiser for the Vancouver Christmas Bureau through the "Kruise for Kids".

 

Over 175 cars attended, including CFV Chapter members Tom Wiebe (1952 Jeep), Ken Pasaluko (1963 Pontiac), Rick Unger (1948 Chev) and Colleen and Ray Broderick (1963 Falcon Futura) for which they won a Best of Class award (see photo). Ray and Colleen are also hardworking members of the host club and it was rewarding for them to have such a successful event.
