Our St.
Patrick's Tour, to two locations, organized by Kathy and Frank Nicolette was a bonny
success. Many dressed up in green like leprechaun Rudy (above). Our First Tour The first tour took us to Dale and Gail Waddell where Dale entertained us (left) with his wooing of Gail 54 years ago in his 1967 Rambler Rebel which he much, much later and somewhat surprisingly was able to repurchase, and lovingly restore to original. His neighbour, John told the story of his recently purchased 2005 Honda 2000 (left) that he recovered from 7 feet of water during our flood of 2021. Although still in the meticulous cleaning stage, the car looks almost brand new again; however, engine and convertible top issues still need to be sorted out. Dale and Gail have a wonderful display building that shows off their fine cars, as well as Dale's "Wall of Records" (below), some from his early band days as a drummer. He is still an active member of a current band. |

Our Second
Tour Our second tour took us to the home of David and Margery Graham for a relaxing tour of his shops (left) and current projects as well as "rides" on a Penny Farthing (right). We all had brought our lunches and settled in for the remainder of the day. And, of course, there were servings of green ice cream as well as coffee and treats. It was a great turn-out, both of old vehicles as well as a large number of our club. A great thankyou to Dale and Gail Waddell and David and Margery Graham (below) for their hospitality. |
