Co-arranged by our Central Fraser
Valley Chapter and the Abbotsford Flying Club, and in Celebration of
Collector Car Appreciation Month, we had a fabulous Wings and Wheels
display at the Abbotsford Airport...or as it's known... YXX. Cars, Trucks, Planes and People came out to enjoy the celebration day. And there was much to enjoy. Along with the various wheels and wings, there was also a highly challenging and competitive bean bag throw, very narrowly won by our Central Fraser Valley Chapter as we competed against the Golden Ears Chapter who we had invited to this event. We had free ice creams, soft drinks and cookies for all participants as well as ring-side seats to a constant show of gliders being sent off into the local skies. |
